It’s just a little under two weeks and Christmas will have arrived. This year has definitely gone by quick and to keep up with the holiday spirits, I brought out this little cape coat from two seasons ago. It definitely is a staple for many Fall/Winter seasons to come.
But what I am really excited about is this weekend! It will be filled with some early present openings and a Family Christmas dinner. Christmas always brings the best feeling (right after my birthday of course 🙂 )

It’s been awhile since my last post. I’ve been caught in a whirlwind of personal things but now it’s catch up time.
I have been drawn to this color palette since fall because it’s so easy and fresh in a sea of dark tones. But it was really cold out during this shoot and I just wanted to run back inside. Although that would’ve been a waste of a beautiful snowfall.

This color scheme has been my go to lately because it’s such refreshing colors in a sea of dark for this season. And I, of course, couldn’t go without dressing up the handbag with some fur for a luxe look. I’m quite sad that most leaves have now gone. They weren’t here for very long and now winter is coming.
Nonetheless, I hope everyone had a good weekend. It’s been a long one for me. But I’m most excited for the weather to get a little colder so I can start pulling out more sweaters and cute cozy coats. Thanks so much for stopping by!

This year I participated in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (with just about every fashion lover under the sun) and bought these Halogen over the knee boots (one of the few purchases I made). And here I am wearing them for the first time since the purchase. I was waiting on a great piece to start it off with and this body skimming dress did wonders.
I love over the knee boots and the fact that they conceal more leg and let a sweater dress (or any mini skirt/dress) sit a little higher, giving you the feel of sexy without over revealing.
